Sett Digital had the pleasure of working with M&C Saatchi Abel on a brand alignment project for the iconic South African furniture and homeware brand Weylandts. The campaign was entitled, ‘Beautiful Living Made Easy’ and the team collaborated with inspirational South African creatives such as renowned writer Angela Makholwa, and accomplished musician Nonku Phiri.

Each scene was inspired by the artist’s specific creative talents, and their personalities. Copy overlaid the images holding quotes from each creative and the icons were placed comfortably and at home on and among Weylandts furniture.

Sett Digital worked closely with photographers Gavin Goodman and Marguerite Oelofse producing high end photographic retouching to complete the compositions – elevating the famous creatives, and highlighting the prestige of the homeware brand.

M&C Saatchi Abel were brought on board as Weylandts’s lead marketing agency in 2018 after having previously worked with them once before. “We realised the critical role for a strategic and creative communications partner to help navigate our business to the next level.” – Chris Weylandt.

The result of the shoot was a series of captivating portraits of the artists, accentuated by the star furniture they occupied.
