Show Africa is innovating new approaches to redefine the promotion of African Fashion and Design practice globally. Sett Digital has the pleasure of working with the Show Africa team on their Aeonic project. Set at the beautiful Klein Kloof Farm in Piketberg, ‘Aeonic’ aims to interrogate themes of waste, things made and left behind in a now altered natural landscape, and our nomadic movement through it as lords or refugees of our own making.
The project comprised of a series of videos, and stills of models clad in powerfully evocative regal-like fashion pieces in front of a hollowed out mirror – that both reflects the sky in front of them, and frames them in the landscape behind.
Sett Digital conducted high-end photographic retouching to each of the stills finishing the images in line with the mood of the styled shoot.
